Pit Master Steven Garner loves to smoke (meats). He is the talent, founder, and CEO of SouthernQ BBQ and Catering LLC, located in Houston, Texas. SouthernQ BBQ specialize in smoked brisket, ribs, chicken and homemade side dishes like potato salad, collard greens and mac and cheese, all based on family recipes.
 
Before following his passion for barbecue, Steve followed in his father’s footsteps and drove 18 wheeler trucks as an owner and operator. In 2014, Steve and his wife, Sherice began catering barbecue fulltime and opened their first restaurant in 2015.
